PRAGATI INFOSOFT PVT. LTD “PIPL” was incorporated in the year 2000 to give momentum to the IT based initiatives of the Jalan Group. PIPL has spearheaded a major Education and IT related initiative in India by launching a network of 48 Educational Portals covered under more than 400 domain names. This network is now popularly know as the National Network of Education “NNE” and is the first nationwide network of its kind in the country. NNE nurtures the dream of providing seamless information about the complete gamut of education to its users.

PIPL has been promoted by Mr. Rajkumar Jalan, Mrs. Kusum Jalan and Mr. Rahul Jalan of the Jalan group. These versatile entrepreneurs have to their credit an experience of around 25 years in diverse fields ranging around hospitality, non-conventional energy systems, HVACs (heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems), steel fabrication, and farming.

The company is having it’s registered office at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The main operations of the company are conducted from it’s head office at New Delhi, India. The company has its branch Offices at Mumbai and Guwahati also.

PIPL is also going to launch educational portals all the countries of the globe on the same lines of National Network of Education (NNE) in India. The domain names for this project has already been acquired and the preliminary work on the project has also been commenced.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Pragati is associated with a number of social and charitable activities. Pragati provides listings and free services to charitable institutions working in the field of education. The company has a firm policy of contributing not just through finance but also through real time involvement with various social causes.

Mr. Siddharth Jalan – Technical Coordinator.

Mr. Rajkumar Jalan is a Commerce Graduate from Guwahati University. He is a serial entrepreneur with vast exposure in the fields of hospitality, non-conventional energy systems, HVACs (heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems), steel fabrication, and farming. His inquisitiveness and adaptability to various technological fields made his foray into the field of internet too and he has been able to master this field too.

He has headed several prestigious Trade and Industry associations in the North East India in the past.

Mr. Rahul Jalan, a PGDBM from IIPM New Delhi has been associated with the PIPL since nearly 5 years. His thorough understanding of internet has been instrumental in developing the projects of PIPL. He is a good painter too besides being a good music instrumentalist. He is now the Project-Coordinator of the company.

Mr. Siddharth Jalan, a BCA from BIT, Mesra is now associated with the company as its Technical Coordinator. He has been instrumental in hosting the examination results of more than 2 crore students in the last academic session on NNE’s sites.
